St. Thomas Men’s Basketball took on Marquette in Milwaukee, Wisconsin last night. The final score was 84-79, with Marquette taking the win, but not by a comfortable margin.
Going into the game, Marquette were 25 ½-point favorites, but in the last 3 minutes of the game led St. Thomas by only one point.
Five St. Thomas players reached double-digit scoring. Senior Drake Dobbs led with 14 points, followed by sophomore Kendall Blue with 13 points.
On Wednesday night, St. Thomas Women’s Basketball fell to UW-Madison 78-55. Despite the final score, coach Ruth Sinn thinks that the team can learn from their mistakes and is glad the team had the opportunity to identify those areas that need work.
