St. Thomas men’s basketball captured its first MIAC win beating Carleton 74-60 on Nov. 26 at Schoenecker Arena.
“I think they’re really unselfish, and they play very hard, so if you do those things, you feel great as a coach working with guys like this,” coach Tauer said.
Women’s basketball also beat Carleton Nov. 26 with a final score of 63-46.
Sophomore guard Amber Darge scored 19 points for the Tommies. Tommies will take on Concordia in Moorhead for a two game series Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 7 at 2 p.m.
Tommie women’s hockey tied the Blugolds with a score of 1-1 on Nov. 29, giving them an unbeaten streak of eight. This streak was broken by host Lake Forest on Nov. 30, who beat the Tommies 2-1.
