The St. Thomas Men’s basketball team beat Division III Crown College 91-56 on Saturday.

Graduate guard Riley Miller put up seven three-pointers and finished with 24 points in the contest. First-year guard Andrew Rhode put up 18 points of his own.

St. Thomas men’s hockey tied Bemidji State 2-2 on Saturday. The Beavers won the shootout, earning the extra point.

First-year goaltender Aaron Trotter save 29 of 31 shots he faced. First-year forwards Ryan O’Neil and Lucas Whalin each scored for the Tommies.

The Minnesota Vikings beat the New York Jets 27-22 on Sunday.

Running back Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison each ran for a touchdown. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson also caught a touchdown with eight minutes left in the game to seal the victory.
