Number two ranked St. Thomas men’s basketball team advances to the MIAC playoff championship after defeating fifth-ranked St. Mary’s 79-66 Thursday night at Schoenecker Arena. The Tommies travel to Collegeville Saturday to take on number one ranked St. John’s for the MIAC championship at 7 p.m.

The St. Thomas men’s hockey team will move on to the MIAC semifinal game after winning Thursday at Saint Thomas Ice Arena against fourth-ranked Gustavus 3-2. The MIAC semifinal will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. in St. Cloud against St. John’s.
