St. Thomas women’s tennis took on St. Scholastica and walked away with a 9-0 victory on Sunday.
Four freshmen in both singles and doubles helped lead the team to a win.
St. Thomas men’s tennis also won against St. Scholastica 7-2 Sunday.
Meanwhile, women’s hockey ended its season with a 3-0 win against St. Mary’s University on Sunday.
Eryn Cooley stopped all 11 shots to earn her 5th career shutout.
Men’s hockey also walked away with a win, beating Bethel 5-1 on Friday.
Tommie softball started its 2021 season on Friday with a split doubleheader against St. Olaf.
On the professional sports front, the short handed Minnesota Timberwolves held on to beat the Portland Trail Blazers 114-112 on Sunday.
Also Sunday, the surging Minnesota Wild beat the Arizona Coyotes 4-1.
