St. Thomas baseball team lost 12-0 to the University of Minnesota Wednesday. The loss brings the Tommies to 2-19 against the Gophers, and two and six overall.
The Minnesota Wild broke a four game losing streak Wednesday after a five-four victory against the Philadelphia Flyers, which is the team’s second win in eight games. The Wild are now 32-17-3.
The Minnesota Timberwolves won against the Golden State Warriors 129-114 Tuesday, with Karl Anthony-Towns leading the charge with 39 points, eeking out Stephen Curry by 5 points as game leader. The Timberwolves now 34-29.
The MLB lockout continues for its 92 day, and for the first time in 27 years is missing games due to a labor dispute. Negotiations broke down after nine straight days and the opening games for each team on March 31 have been cancelled.
