The St. Thomas baseball team mercy-ruled Western Illinois 12-2 in seven innings Sunday at Koch Diamond. The victory marked the Tommies’ third consecutive series win after defeating Tarleton State and Northern Colorado prior.

The Tommies split their doubleheader on Saturday, winning game one 4-to-1 then losing the second eleven-to-1.

St. Thomas men’s golf finished day one of the Summit League Championship on Sunday in seventh place.

St. Thomas softball suffered a 5-0 loss at South Dakota State on Friday. Their next game will be at home on Tuesday against Green Bay.

Starting today, the Wild will be entering the playoffs and will have a crucial seven-game series against the St. Louis Blues, a team that has gotten over them in the regular season.
