The St. Thomas women’s basketball team has their season opener on Monday, November 6th. They play the Drake Bulldogs in Des Moines, Iowa. The Bulldogs are coming off a historic season where they won the Missouri Valley Conference. They had a shot at the NCAA tournament, where they ultimately lost in the first round. 

The St. Thomas volleyball team fell to South Dakota last night with a score of 0-3. Senior Ellie Gustafson recorded her fourth double-double of the season with a stat line of 11 kills and 12 digs. 

The Tommies’ next match is tomorrow, Saturday, November 4th. It will be senior night, where they will take on Omaha. 

The men’s hockey team will welcome Northern Michigan today and tomorrow night as they play in back-to-back games. Northern Michigan had a slow start to their season with a record of 1-4-1, while the Tommies look for their first conference win.
