The Detroit Tigers beat the Minnesota Twins 10-7 on Thursday night in a slugfest with seven homers. Josh Donaldson added a three-run homer and Brent Rooker added a solo shot for Minnesota. Minnesota’s Joe Ryan, who had struck out the last seven batters he faced in his last outing, had four strikeouts in the first two innings.

The Tommies dominated North Dakota in volleyball Thursday night, racking up 68 kills during the game. This came after a second-set loss to a 9-1 lead in the third set. St. Thomas ended its nine-game losing streak since an early win against the University of the Incarnate Word on Sept. 3.

The Tommies tied the Broncos 1-1 on Tuesday after two overtimes. The lone goal by the Tommies was scored with ten minutes left in the first half. This comes after a loss last week at Eastern Illinois.
