Women’s hockey first-year Ella Boerger was named WCHA Rookie of the Week after her two goals and three assists in a weekend sweep over Lindenwood. St. Thomas Women’s Hockey takes on the Minnesota Gophers this Friday at the Xcell Energy Center.

St. Thomas women’s soccer secured its first conference win of the season against Oral Roberts with a final score of 1-0. Sofia Caballero scored her first goal of the season. The Tommies currently have one win, three losses and one tie in the conference.

The Minnesota Twins take on the Houston Astros for game three in the World Series this afternoon, at 3:07 p.m.

The teams are tired 1-1 in the series. Minnesota is favored by 1.5 runs.
