The St. Thomas football team won its first conference game this Saturday by defeating Marist College 38-24.
The St. Thomas men’s hockey team opened their season last Saturday night by outscoring one of the best teams in the country in the last two periods of the game. The St. Cloud State Huskies would go on to win the game 3-1 despite an impressive fight from the Tommies. This came after the sold-out arena fell silent early in the first period after a St. Cloud State sophomore defenseman had to be stretchered off the ice after a clean shoulder to shoulder check.
The Minnesota Vikings traveled to London this past weekend and picked up a too close for comfort win over the New Orleans saints after the potential game tying kick was “double doinked”. The Vikings record now stands three and one on the season and 3-0 in games played in the United Kingdom.
