The University of St. Thomas football team rushed over 500 yards and closed with a total of 742 yards and en route to a 74-to-14 win over Hamline University. The Tommie defense held the Hamline Pipers to 44 rush yards and also had two takeaways.

The Minnesota Twins are three wins away from clinching the AL Central after winning three games against the Kansas City Royals this weekend. It’s a close race for the division with the Cleveland Indians, who are currently four games behind the Twins.

The Minnesota Vikings beat the Oakland Raiders sunday 34-14. Kirk Cousins bounced back from a tough loss at Green Bay with 174 yards passing, and Dalvin Cook put up 110 yards rushing and a TD.
