On Monday, the St. Thomas men’s golf teed off at the Zach Johnson Invitational in Des Moines, Iowa. Sophomore Owen Rexing led the way for the Tommies. The team finished the first round in 10th place at 23 strokes over par.

The Minnesota Twins host the Oakland Athletics tonight to begin a three-game series. Minnesota has a 83-73 record overall and a 45-33 record in home games. The Athletics have a 30-84 record in games when they have given up a home run. The teams meet Tuesday for the fourth time this season.

The Dallas Stars are back at American Airlines Center to prepare for a game against the Minnesota Wild Tuesday night. The teams will play at 7 p.m.
