The St. Thomas football team dominated Butler University in its first Division I home game Saturday, 36-0.
Senior quarterback Cade Sexauer threw two touchdown passes, senior running back Tom Loefller ran for two more scores and St. Thomas forced two turnovers in the game.
Women’s hockey began its season this weekend at Ohio State, losing to both games on the road 6-0 Friday and 4-1 Saturday. First-year forward Abby Promersberger scored the lone goal of the weekend.
Men’s soccer made its Summit League debut Saturday at Eastern Illinois, losing 1-0. Women’s volleyball lost 3-0 at Denver Saturday
The softball team swept Winona State Sunday afternoon in a doubleheader to begin its fall exhibition season, winning 3-2 and 5-1.
