St. Thomas football went on the road to Wisconsin Eau Claire for their third game of the season. St. Thomas attempted a two point conversion to tie the game late. They didn’t complete the two point conversion as they lost 19-21 against the Blugolds.
With Caruso being the head coach of Tommie football for the past 12 years, this is only his second regular season, non-conference defeat.
Homecoming is this week for St. Thomas. This upcoming Saturday the Tommies take on Concordia Moorhead. They will play at St. Thomas at 1:10pm.
Sunday the Minnesota Vikings played the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. The Bears walked away with a win scoring 16-6. Chicago won, but not without cost. During the first drive of the game, Chicago’s quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was forced out of the game due to a shoulder injury. The Vikings are currently ranked 4th in the NFC North. Their next game will be against the NFC East third rank team, the New York Giants.
