St. Paul Public Works will undergo a two-day plow operation for the residential streets of St. Paul, beginning Tuesday, Dec. 3. It is not a snow emergency.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, city crews will plow north-south residential streets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This includes streets like Cretin, Cleveland, Prior and Fairview. Cars should be parked on east-west residential or arterial (main) streets. “No parking” signs still apply.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, city crews will plow east-west residential streets from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Streets include Marshall, Summit, Grand, Selby, Ashland, Laurel and Lincoln. Cars should be parked on north-south residential or arterial (main) streets, and “no parking” signs are in effect.

Vehicles will not be ticketed or towed if not moved. However, all residents are encouraged to move as it will benefit the snow and ice removal.

For the winter, vehicles that have been parked on public streets for more than 48 hours are subject to ticketing and towing by the St. Paul Police Department. To report a car, contact the non-emergency number at 651-291-1111. Provide the location and the make and model of the vehicle.

Homeowners or renters are required to shovel their sidewalks and to keep hydrants and storm drains clear.
