St. Thomas men’s hockey announced its 2022-23 CCHA season schedule on Thursday, which featured 14 of 26 games on home ice at St. Thomas Ice Arena.
The Tommies season will open Oct. 28 with a series on the road against Ferris State, whom St. Thomas collected two of its three wins against last season. The home opener will take place Nov. 4 when the Tommies take on CCHA champion and NCAA championship runner-up Minnesota State-Mankato; St. Thomas went 0-6 against the Mavericks last year, with the closest loss being a 3-2 defeat during the first round of the CCHA playoffs.
St. Thomas will play six of the seven CCHA teams four times, the exception being Northern Michigan, who will come to the Tommies’ home ice for two games on Feb. 10 and 11.
The Tommies’ full schedule will feature 35 games and will be released soon.
