Four separate crimes occurred in the St. Thomas neighborhood over the last three weeks, Public Safety wrote in two emails Monday.

On Friday, March 20 around 9:30 p.m., St. Thomas students reported four men with guns entered their residence on the 2100 block of Selby Avenue. The suspects pointed a gun at a student and kicked open another student’s door. The men stole property from the house.

On Saturday, March 28 around 3:55 p.m. on the 1700 block of Selby Avenue, St. Thomas students reported that two men knocked on the door of their house to deliver food.

None of the students had ordered food, so they closed and locked the door, locked themselves in a basement room and called the St. Paul Police Department. The students reported that shortly after, the two men forcibly entered the residence and left without taking anything.

On Sunday, March 29 around 11:50 p.m. on Grand Avenue near South Finn Street, two St. Thomas students reported they were confronted by two suspects who hit one student in the face and stole cell phones, wallets and keys. After the confrontation, the suspects drove south in a white sedan.

Later that night, on Monday, March 30 at 3:21 a.m., the suspects returned and stole one of the victim’s vehicles. This incident is actively being investigated by police.
