St. Thomas trounces Carleton 48-3 at halftime

Quarterback Jacques Perra tossed a 61-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Tanner Vik to extend a 48-3 halftime lead over the Carleton Knights in St. Thomas’s second home game of the season at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.

Running back Josh Parks scored on a 57-yard touchdown run following linebacker Adam Kraft’s interception at the 50-yard line. Carleton’s offense was unable to penetrate the end zone. Their only scoring play came on a field goal.

The Tommies entered today’s matchup with a 2-0 record, while Carleton is 0-2 on the season. St. Thomas, the defending MIAC champion, is fourth in the latest rankings.
