The Schoenecker Center, which serves as the University of St Thomas’ new home for its science, technical, engineering, arts and math fields, opened its doors for classes on Monday, Feb. 5. The complex, which cost over 100 million dollars, features new facilities for integrative STEAM studies, including geology, multimedia, robotics and music. Kevin Lynch has the story.

Alyssa Baguss bridges nature and technology in Hearth Room painting
Local artist Alyssa Baguss covered the back wall of the Hearth Room in the Anderson Student Center this January with a 29 feet wide and 10 feet long forest landscape, cut out to mirror the windows on the side of the room. Reporter Annie Terry has the story.
