Campus a cappella groups Cadenza and the Summit Singers are planning to begin their season this semester, despite COVID-19 regulations. University Affairs Editor Annie Terry has the story.

St. Thomas a cappella groups sing out against hate
In response to recent hate crimes and racial incidents on campus, St. Thomas a cappella groups collaborated to create a music video project called We Stand For. Cadenza and the Summit Singers recorded the song “If You’re Out There” by John Legend and then invited students, clubs and other community members to come to OEC auditorium and write on a sign what they stood for.
Cadenza, Summit Singers, Wako collaborate on “Where is the Love”
The highlight was their final song, a collaboration between the Summit Singers and sophomore Wako Wako to “Where is the Love” by the Black Eyed Peas.
First Cadenza concert draws crowd
