This September, nearly 200,000 undergraduate students will be enrolled full-time at a Minnesota college or university. This November, 268 Minnesota residents will run for state legislature. One person will do both.

Sanders takes Minnesota’s DFL caucus
Hundreds of thousands of Minnesotans flocked to the caucuses Tuesday night, giving Sen. Bernie Sanders more than 60 percent of the Minnesota vote in the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party caucus.
GOP reports record turnout in Minnesota caucuses
Spokeswoman Katie Boyd says the party has counted 79,000 participants so far with only about 70 percent of results in. She says that is 15,000 more than in the record year of 2008. Democrats also reported very heavy turnout Tuesday but haven’t yet given numbers.
