As 5,935 undergraduate students return to in-person classes at St. Thomas, many are excited to find community as COVID-19 protocols allow for more campus events. St. Thomas broke records in welcoming 62 new international students in-person this fall despite an ongoing pandemic as the university provided support to foreign applicants in an effort to keep cultural exchange a priority on campus.
Minnesota will lift nearly all its COVID-19 restrictions just before Memorial Day weekend and drop its statewide mask requirement once 70% of residents age 16 and older get their first dose of vaccine, but no later than July 1, Gov. Tim Walz announced Thursday.
