On March 16, 2020, all St. Thomas classes moved online for the remainder of the spring semester due to the emerging COVID-19 pandemic. Two years later, St. Thomas’ University Action and Response Team is still navigating a pandemic that emptied campus, introduced mask mandates and created a shift toward online learning.

COVID-19 UPDATE: 38 new positive cases at St. Thomas
Thirty-eight positive COVID-19 cases were reported by St. Thomas’ Center for Well-Being during the week ending on Feb. 4.
Spring Semester COVID-19 Protocols
Sixty-one positive COVID-19 cases were reported to the St. Thomas Center for Well-Being for the week ending Jan. 28. The university-wide vaccination rate is 91.2%, with 94% of employees and 90.4% of students vaccinated.

Nineteen positive COVID-19 cases were reported by St. Thomas’ Center for Well-Being during the week of Dec. 6, which is a decrease of 22 cases from last week.
