While some were celebrating the semester’s kickoff last Friday with a brew, English professors A.J. Scheiber and Liz Wilkinson entertained Coffee Bene’s patrons with a few hours of music, camaraderie and fun.
When I returned to Cretin Hall from Thanksgiving break freshman year, my roommate asked me a life-changing question: “Have you ever seen ‘Lost’?”

Freshman Mitch Johnson not only helped bring the Minneapolis-based band Camera Can’t Lie to Scooter’s Saturday night but Johnson also was able to open for the band.
Students in the library seem extra grumpy. My time spent surfing the Web has quadrupled. Professors keep talking about deadlines. Even my mom is calling to make sure I’m getting all my schoolwork done.
