First-year goaltender Saskia Maurer had 31 saves in a hard-fought defensive 3-0 loss for the St. Thomas women’s hockey team against No. 8 ranked Minnesota-Duluth Saturday at St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights.
First-year forward Lauren Stenslie scored her first collegiate goal and senior forward Megan Korzack scored her first goal of the season with 6:03 left in the third period securing a 3-2 win over St. Cloud State University Friday at St. Thomas Ice Arena.
The St. Thomas women’s hockey team couldn’t find the back of the net in a 3-0 losing effort to Bemidji State University, taking 31 shots on goal to Bemidji’s 33 during their home opener Friday night at St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights.
