St. Thomas’ standout defense held strong once again with three takeaways and three fourth-down conversion stops in a 27-7 victory over Marist College Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.
Two defensive takeaways by senior defensive back Luke Glenna kept the ball in senior quarterback Cade Sexauer’s hands, but St. Thomas’ special team’s errors led to a score by Marist College as the Tommies took a 13-7 lead into halftime Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.
The St. Thomas football team will face Marist College at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at O’Shaughnessy Stadium.
Sophomore running back Hope Adebayo ran for four touchdowns and the St. Thomas defense forced four turnovers, propelling the Tommies to a 38-7 road win over Stetson University Saturday at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand, Fla.
