Led by an 18-kill performance by sophomore outside hitter Lauren Galvin, the St. Thomas volleyball team started off with a first-set win against Summit League No. 3 South Dakota before dropping three straight sets in a 3-1 loss Thursday at Schoenecker Arena. Cam Kauffman has the story.
Tommies split doubleheader against Green Bay in home finale
The St. Thomas softball team split its doubleheader, winning 9-1 and losing 5-3, with Green Bay Tuesday at South Field. First-year pitcher Christina Crawford dominated on both sides of the ball in game one, going 3-3 with a three-run home run and pitching all five innings.

The St. Thomas baseball team suffered a three-game sweep by South Dakota State this weekend during the matchup on Saturday and the doubleheader on Sunday, Tommie softball rallied for a win on Sunday, securing a 3-2 victory against the Kansas City Roos, and Target Center hosted the Women’s Final Four title game.
