St. Olaf suspends 17 students after off-campus party forces 50 to quarantine
At St. Olaf College, an off-campus party has forced 50 students to quarantine and suspended 17 students for the fall semester, St. Olaf President David Anderson wrote in a message to students Thursday. The party was attended by a large group of students before moving into campus housing.
St. Thomas undergraduates required to sign “Common Good Commitment” before returning to campus
St. Thomas is requiring all undergraduate students living, working or attending classes on campus to electronically sign the “Common Good Commitment,” before returning for fall 2020, according to an email sent by university President Julie Sullivan Tuesday evening.
Tommie men’s hockey to join Central Collegiate Hockey Association in 2021
The Central Collegiate Hockey Association announced Wednesday that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to allow the St. Thomas men’s hockey program to join the league for its inaugural 2021-22 season.
MIAC postpones several fall sports to spring
The MIAC on Tuesday officially announced postponement of the fall season for football, soccer, cross country and volleyball to the spring amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Yohuru Williams to take new role, launch Racial Justice Initiative at St. Thomas
St. Thomas College of Arts and Sciences Dean Yohuru Williams has elected to stay at St. Thomas to take a position as a Distinguished University Chair, Professor and Founding Director of the new Racial Justice Initiative at St. Thomas beginning July 1, university President Julie Sullivan announced in an email on Wednesday.
