The St. Thomas women’s hockey team lost 7-1 against No. 1-ranked University of Minnesota, the St. Thomas women’s basketball team lost 73-46 against the University of South Dakota, the St. Thomas Swim and Dive team is competing in the first-ever Summit League Championships in Fargo, and the St. Thomas men’s basketball team lost 81-60 against the University of South Dakota. Tommie Swimming’s Foti Receives Ticketsmarter’s Summit League Award
St. Thomas first-year swimmer Alex Foti received Tickersmarter’s Swimmer of the Week Award on Tuesday, according to a release from the Summit League. The award follows his record-breaking performance in the 1,000 yard freestyle at the Tommies swimming home opener last Saturday.

St. Thomas first-year swimmer Alex Foti broke a school record for the 1,000 yard freestyle in St. Thomas swimming’s home opener against Division II Augustana University (0-2) Saturday at the Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex Pool.
St. Thomas first-year student breaks two school swim records
First-year Noah Faldet broke the school record for the 100 breaststroke and was a member of the record-setting 4×100 medley relay last month at the MIAC Championships.
