Minnesota Timberwolves players and staff participated in a player-led icebreaker game of slow-pitch softball on the St. Thomas baseball field.
Over the weekend, the St. Thomas women’s tennis team competed at the Gopher Invitational, starting strong with two individual match wins and two doubles team wins. Joe Ryan pitched shutout ball for the second straight outing and become only the second Minnesota starter to reach the eighth inning this season. Chad Breitenfeldt has today’s Sports in :60.

St. Thomas men’s hockey ended its inaugural Division I season with two losses over the weekend. St. Thomas softball lost three road games this weekend, falling twice to Bradley and once to Missouri in its third tournament of the season. St. Thomas baseball took their first Division I victories, defeating Sacred Heart 2-0 and 3-2 this weekend. Softball took five losses on the weekend at the Mardi Gras Mambo in Youngsville, Louisiana. BREAKING: MIAC, St. Thomas cancels spring sports season, NCAA allows extra year of eligibility
After the MIAC Presidents Council cancelled the 2020 conference regular season and postseason championships, St. Thomas cancelled the remainder of the spring sports season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this, the NCAA Division III Administrative Committee is granting an additional season of eligibility for those participating in spring sports.
