Despite loading the bases in the bottom of the seventh inning with one out and trailing by two runs, the University of St. Thomas softball team fell 5-3 to University of North Dakota Sunday at South Field.

The St. Thomas baseball team suffered a three-game sweep by South Dakota State this weekend during the matchup on Saturday and the doubleheader on Sunday, Tommie softball rallied for a win on Sunday, securing a 3-2 victory against the Kansas City Roos, and Target Center hosted the Women’s Final Four title game. Remembering the grandfather of St. Thomas softball
A father, a coach, a fan, a mentor and most notably the St. Thomas softball team’s “Papa” will always be remembered as a legacy behind Tommie Softball. Ronald John Tschida died on Sept. 17, 2019, at the age of 80.
