Senior forward Jacek Nickowski scored the lone goal for the St. Thomas men’s soccer team as it tied the University of Green Bay 1-1 Wednesday at South Field. The Tommies (1-6-1, 0-0 Summit) faced off against the Phoenix (3-2-2, 0-1 Horizon) in their second home match of the season. This was the Tommies’ last game before conference play starts on Saturday.
Tommie standout Anders Nelson to transfer, won’t forget ‘unbelievable four-year experience’
After four fantastic years at St. Thomas, senior guard Anders Nelson will graduate and transfer to William & Mary for his fifth-year. The Edina native is hoping he can help improve the five-win school but noted he won’t forget being a Tommie. “You guys have supplied me with memories that will last a lifetime,” Nelson said.

Mickett goes 4-4, St. Thomas softball walks off against South Dakota
The St. Thomas softball team salvaged the weekend series in spectacular fashion Sunday, winning 8-7 at South Field against South Dakota. Sophomore shortstop Sydney Mickett was the hero for the Tommies, hitting a two-run walkoff single in the bottom of the seventh inning to seal the comeback win.
