The St. Thomas mens and womens basketball programs unveiled its inaugural Division I schedules on Monday.

The men’s team will play 30 games while the women will play 29. Each team will play 18 Summit League games while the men have 12 non-conference games and the women have 11.

The Tommies will face some tough opponents; the women’s team opens their season against Wisconsin on Nov. 10, and the men’s team will face 2021 Sweet 16 team Oral Roberts on Jan. 6 and again later in the season.

The men’s team is slated to play in two tournaments this year, including one in New York City. The women will trek to San Luis Obispo in late November to play in the Cal-Poly tournament.

Both Tommie teams are coming off strong shortened seasons in the MIAC, with the women finishing 6-1 and the men finishing with an undefeated record of 7-0.

The women’s team will hold their home opener at Schoenecker Arena on Nov. 13 while the men will wait until Dec. 2.
