The St. Thomas women’s hockey team’s loss in overtime to Plattsburgh State at the national championship competition in March was the top story on TommieMedia in 2014.
The story, which included a photo slideshow of the game and video of the press conference following the game, is currently the third-highest viewed story ever published on TommieMedia.
Other popular stories from this year include student involvement with the legalization of marijuana (3), the university hiring 43 new staff positions after many staff and faculty members retired in the spring (8) and the announcement of Andy Grammer as the artist at STAR’s spring concert (9).
